PuppeTry is a unique master study programme which encourages the students to find their own artistic role through puppetry.
What is it PuppeTry?
Each of the four universities participating in this programme (SZFE – University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest, Hungary; AMU – Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Czech Republic; VSMU – Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, Slovakia and AT – The Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw, Branch Campus in Bialystok, Poland) attaches great importance to the practice of puppetry and the provision of related education. We believe it is important for puppetry to survive and develop into the next generation of theatre-makers. The newly launched master’s programme is the right place for such a development, designed for those interested in puppetry to further deepen their knowledge and share their experience with partners from around the world.
